Top Music Performers Fabolous, Mavado, I-Octane And Barrington Levy Entertained Thousands Of Music Fans During The August 11 – 12 Weekend

NEW YORK - August 16, 2012 - This past weekend, Six Flags Great Adventure played host to TriniFly Promotions’ most highly-anticipated concert event of the year, the “Caribbean Summer Concert Series”. This year, the concert event offered two days of non-stop music and entertainment against the kinetic backdrop of New Jersey’s number one amusement park, Six Flags Great Adventure. Event attendees enjoyed sizzling music performances, plus full access to park rides, Six Flags’ special Hurricane Harbor and Wild Safari attractions.

The Caribbean Summer Concert Series featured red-hot performances from some of today’s top hip-hop and Caribbean artists, including Fabolous, Mavado, I-Octane and Barrington Levy. Hip-Hop pioneer Fabolous dominated the Hurricane Harbor concert stage on Saturday, August 11. Performing old music favorites and new selections, the music veteran kept music fans on their feet and echoing popular hits like “Throw It In The Bag,” “Make Me Better,” and “Breathe”.

On Sunday, August 12, the Caribbean islands took over Six Flags Great Adventures’ Northern Star Arena with a star-studded artist lineup and jam-packed performances. Caribbean music lovers went crazy when conscious reggae singer I-Octane took the stage first and performed a vast selection of reggae hits, including “My Life,” “Nuh A Dem Nuh Frighten,” “Poverty,” and “Badmind Fi The Year”. Dancehall bad boy Mavado followed up with an energetic set which featured “All Dem A Talk,” “Amazing Grace,” and “Can’t Believe” to name a few. Reggae music legend Barrington Levy closed out the final night of the Caribbean Summer Concert Series with his signature hits and amazing stage presence. Performing classic reggae favorites like “Shine Eye Girl,” “Murderer,” and “Black Roses” had music fans screaming and begging for more. The reggae music veteran obliged and delivered another set of songs that brought the crowd to their feet.

This year’s Caribbean Summer Concert Series drew thousands of sun seekers and music fans to the special two-day music and entertainment event. Event goers enjoyed amusement park attractions as well as a weekend filled with LIVE music performances.
